Eye Floaters

Eye Floaters are caused by the normal aging process or as a result from other diseases or conditions: Age-related Eye changes. As you age, the vitreous, or jelly-like substance filling your eyeballs and helping them to maintain their round shape changes.

A Vitrectomy is an invasive surgery that can remove Eye Floaters from your line of Vision. Within this procedure, your Eye Doctor will remove the vitreous through a small incision. The vitreous is a clear, gel-like substance that keeps the shape of your eye round.
