Disabling Caps Lock

If you accidentally hit “Caps Lock” instead of “Shift”, it might be worth disabling it.

This is how you disable it:

1⃣ Press “Win + R”, type “regedit” and press “OK”.

2⃣ Go to “ComputerHKEYLOCALMACHINESYSTEM CurrentControlSetControlKeyboard Layout”

3⃣ Press PCM and create a “Binary parameter” named “ScanCode Map”

4⃣ Change the binary parameter to “00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 02 00 00 00 00 00 00 3A 00 00 00 00 00 00”

“Caps Lock” will stop working after you reboot the system.
